I ranked my decisions for the first half of 2026. Out of ten. Here are a few:
January: locking in our first AMS coach, 10/10.
April: paid events series fiasco. What used to bring in more speakers and guest teachers turned into more work for everyone. Mostly free tickets, barely any paid. Reminder that what worked before doesn't always work again, 3/10.
June: radical simplification begins, another 10/10, and I finally started the full systems and offers audit I'd been putting off.
Look back at a list like that and one thing jumps out.
The good months were the months I fixed the thing that was actually slowing everything else down. And 9/10 we misjudge that wildly.
And that brings me to…plumbing.
