I do this slightly unhinged thing before every cohort.
I write down every single name on a piece of paper.
Not in a spreadsheet. Not in Notion.
A literal piece of paper. It’s a reminder that these are real humans. With real jobs and real lives and real “I hope this works” energy.
And when I remember that, marketing stops feeling like something I’m doing to people… and starts feeling like what it actually is: building relationships with people so they can choose the right solution for their problem.
Which brings me to the point of this email.
